Learning How to Use Copic Markers

I have slowly been purchasing Copic Markers.  Took me a while to actually get them out and use them.  I have watched several tutorials and finally decided I just needed to get them out and play to see what happened.  Here is the first real attempt at coloring a full digi stamp.  This is a Besties Digital stamp, they are a lot of fun to play to use with copic markers.  My daughters think I am crazy because I have been sitting at night and coloring several of these different stamp designs.

A fresh post

It's amazing how fast time flies.  Knew it had been a while since last post but did not realize it had been since August of last year.  I been busy making cards just did not take the time to post online.  So over the next few weeks will post some of the cards.  Have been learning to use copic markers for the last month so soon you should see some of those cards.

Made this card using the Bordering on Romance Stamp set.  The Card base is from the Basic Grey card stock.  Ribbon is the Satin Bashful Blue.  Used one of the tea time trinkets from holiday catalog.  Was an easy card to make and can be used for lots of different occasions.

Something different

I did not realize how long it had been since I last posted something.  It has been a busy summer.  Went to Cabo with family for some down time which seems like forever ago.  Just got back from San Francisco after a weekend in wine country with my mother and daughters.  Very nice weekend especially since the weather had been so hot.  

Have been looking forward to fall this year. I have started making things for Halloween.  My daughter keeps telling me it is to soon.  She has already put her name on some of the things I am making, so it must not be to soon.

Here are some of the decorative mesh wreaths I have done.  I have so much fun making these.  Now that I have it figured out I am going to try to make ones for the football season.  Yes, it is a little backwards since I should have done those first.  

Would like to find some witches legs that are different but having a hard time finding any that I like for this wreath.  Yes my daughter was quick to point out that I was using a christmas wreath holder.
